Task Breakdown: Inspect incoming raw wheat shipments, Perform essential lab tests on raw wheat samples: moisture content, hectoliter weight (test weight), foreign matter/dockage, shriveled/damaged grains, and gluten content, eject wheat consignments that fail to meet factory standards or EFDA safety limits, Monitor wheat cleaning, dampening/conditioning, and tempering stages to verify correct moisture addition prior to milling, take periodic samples from break rolls, reduction rolls, and plan sifters to check grinding performance and extraction rates, Monitor pest control and sanitation across silos, mill house equipment, and storage areas, Conduct physical, chemical, and functional laboratory testing on finished wheat flour batches according to CES (Compulsory Ethiopian Standards) guidelines, Verify proper dosing of premixes for mandatory flour fortification, Inspect automated weighing systems, Ensure correct labeling, test bag sealing integrity and check storage condition standards.

Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in grain processing, milling operations, or large-scale food production.

Educational Requirements: BSc Degree in Food Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
