REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
Rapid Institutional Assessment, Governance Reform, Organizational Restructuring, and Modernization of the Ethiopian Equestrian Association (EEA)
RFP – 02-2026
Established in 1950 E.C, the Ethiopian Equestrian Association (EEA) is the national governing body responsible for the promotion and regulation of equestrian sports in Ethiopia, including Show Jumping, Endurance Riding, Polo, Horse Racing, Dressage, Eventing, and other emerging disciplines. Ethiopia has one of Africa’s largest equine populations, a rich horsemanship heritage, and favorable conditions for equestrian sport development. However, these advantages have not yet been translated into a modern and competitive equestrian system capable of producing elite athletes, improving sport-horse breeding, hosting international competitions, attracting investment, and competing successfully at continental and global levels. Recognizing the need for transformation, EEA invites all interested & eligible bidders to issue a proposal to undertake a rapid institutional assessment and organizational reform process to strengthen governance, modernize management systems, enhance technical capacity, and position Ethiopia as a competent equestrian nation in East Africa.
Proposal submission instruction
• Request for Proposal document with detailed technical specification is available at EEA office starting from 19 October 2026 on working hours. Collect the bid document through paying non- refundable fee of ETB 200.00 (Two hundred) • Validity period: Proposals must be submitted within seven(7) working days from October 19, 2026 • Address: Ethiopian Equestrian Association: Gullelle Subcity, Woreda 2, Sidist Kilo, 4th floor of the Rift Valley University Building, Tel: 0948887829 [email protected]
