NETWORK OF ETHIOPIAN WOMEN’S ASSOCIATIONS(NEWA) Call for Audit Service Background The Network of Ethiopian Women’s Associations (NEWA) is a non-partisan, non-governmental network organization established in 2003. It currently has 55-member local organizations and associations working together to create a stronger advocacy voice for women’s advancement. NEWA’s mission is twofold: To synchronize the individual activities of women’s associations into an integrated collective effort to realize their common aspirations for gender equality. To launch vigorous public campaigns of promotion, advocacy, and lobbying for women’s rights. NEWA closes its accounts annually and engages external auditors as per Civil Society Authority requirements, with a maximum of three years per firm. The audits for 2023–2025 have been successfully completed. NEWA now seeks a competent audit firm to conduct its accounts audit for three consecutive years starting from 2026. The bidders are requested to submit the following requirements : ü Eligibility Requirements Renewed trade/business certificate for the year 2019 E.C. (2026 G.C.) · Professional competency license · Renewed trade license Registration with the Authority of Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) · Evidence of settlement of government taxes for the year · Tax Identification Number (TIN) · VAT registration certificate · Time required for completion of the audit · Proposed audit fee · Organization profile · Evidence of experience in closing accounts of different organizations in compliance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) Application Instructions · Submit both technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes. · Include hard copies of all relevant documents, renewed certificates, and samples of previous related work. · Proposals must be submitted within ten (10) working days from the date of this announcement. · Bids must be sealed, clearly marked with the bidder’s name, address, legal stamps, and signatures. · Late submissions will not be considered. · NEWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
