The Ethiopian Tourist Trading Enterprise (ETTE), established in 1964, is a government-owned enterprise dedicated to promoting Ethiopia’s rich cultural heritage and supporting the nation’s tourism sector. With over six decades of experience, ETTE operates a network of duty-free and duty-paid retail outlets, offering a diverse range of products including handicrafts, souvenirs, electronics, and luxury goods. The enterprise also engages in the production of traditional Ethiopian art and crafts, aiming to showcase the country’s unique cultural identity to both domestic and international customers. Through its commitment to quality service and cultural promotion, ETTE plays a significant role in enhancing Ethiopia’s image and contributing to its economic development.

• Collect, consolidate, and analyse performance data from the Duty Free, Duty Paid (Dilgebeya), and Art and Handicraft business units. • Develop and maintain performance dashboards, scorecards, and KPI-tracking tools. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reports for management. • Support budget performance monitoring and variance analysis. • Identify performance gaps and recommend improvement measures to department managers. • Support departments in setting realistic and measurable performance targets. • Benchmark Enterprise performance against relevant industry standards. • Support the Senior Strategy and Planning Officer in monitoring and evaluating strategic-plan implementation. • Coordinate performance-review meetings and follow up on agreed action items.

Years of Experience: 3+ years of experience in performance management, business analysis, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel and data-visualization tools). Soft Skills: • Good understanding of KPI frameworks and balanced-scorecard methodology. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Good communication and presentation skills. • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Educational Requirements: BA in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field.
