Task Breakdown: • Leading implementation of the Institute’s five-year strategic plan. • Translating strategic priorities into annual business and operational plans. • Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities in education, training, consultancy, partnerships and other relevant areas. • Developing and implementing viable business models and new revenue streams. • Strengthening the Institute’s market position and responsiveness to changing demand. • Improving financial sustainability, operational efficiency and institutional performance. • Building strategic partnerships with government, private sector, industry, educational institutions and development organizations. • Leading organizational development, innovation and change. • Building a performance-oriented institutional culture. • Reporting strategic and business performance to the Board.

Years of Experience: PhD 4 years & above, Master’s 6 years & above, Degree 8 years & above Relevant Experience: • Demonstrated competence and relevant work experience. • The ideal candidate should have:Significant senior management/executive leadership experience.Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and implementation.Experience in business development, market expansion or revenue diversification.Experience managing budgets and institutional resources.Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships and mobilize opportunities.Experience leading people, organizational change and performance improvement.

Soft Skills: • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. • Professional conduct, integrity, and respect for institutional policies. • Commitment to student learning, safety, and development. Language Proficiency: listen, write and speak Afan Oromo.

A combination of education-sector knowledge and business/management expertise would be particularly desirable
