Key Impact: Key Performance Indicators • Timeliness of purchase processing and delivery follow-up. • Competitiveness and completeness of quotation comparisons. • Compliance with procurement approvals and procedures. • Accuracy of purchase orders and procurement records. • Supplier delivery performance and resolution of procurement issues.

Task Breakdown: • Process approved purchase requests and obtain compliant quotations to support timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, supplies, tools, and services. • Receive and check approved purchase requisitions for completeness, specifications, budget, and authorization. • Request quotations from qualified suppliers and prepare comparative statements. • Follow up on purchase orders, delivery dates, backorders, and supplier documentation. • Coordinate with requesting departments, stores, finance, and logistics to confirm requirements and delivery. • Maintain procurement files, supplier records, purchase registers, and correspondence. • Follow company procurement procedures, ethical standards, and conflict-of-interest requirements.

Years of Experience: Typically 3–4 years of purchasing or procurement experience

Technical Skills: • Quotation analysis and purchasing administration. • MS Excel and procurement systems. Soft Skills: • Negotiation and supplier communication. • Attention to detail and record management. • Integrity, fairness, and deadline management.

Educational Requirements: bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
