Key Impact: Key Performance Indicators • Procurement cycle time and on-time delivery performance. • Savings or cost avoidance against approved estimates, where measurable. • Compliance of sourcing and award processes with company procedures. • Supplier performance and quality of purchased goods/services. • Accuracy of procurement plans, reports, and records.

Task Breakdown: • Manage procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, services, and subcontracted packages to achieve value for money, quality, timely delivery, and procedural compliance. • Develop procurement plans and schedules in coordination with project, engineering, stores, and finance teams. • Manage sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiations, purchase orders, and contract documentation. • Review specifications, quantities, delivery requirements, and commercial terms with technical stakeholders. • Monitor supplier performance, lead times, market conditions, and procurement risks. • Ensure procurement files, approvals, bid evaluations, and audit trails are complete and compliant. • Support supplier development, cost-saving initiatives, procurement reporting, and resolution of delivery disputes.

Years of Experience: Typically 6–7 years of procurement experience, including responsibility for significant purchases or construction project procurement.

Technical Skills: • Strategic sourcing, tendering, and negotiation. • Supplier evaluation and contract/commercial awareness. • Procurement planning and market analysis. • Excel, ERP, and procurement reporting. Soft Skills: Leadership, integrity, risk management, and communication.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field Certifications: relevant professional certification is an advantage.
