The Ethiopian Tourist Trading Enterprise (ETTE), established in 1964, is a government-owned enterprise dedicated to promoting Ethiopia’s rich cultural heritage and supporting the nation’s tourism sector. With over six decades of experience, ETTE operates a network of duty-free and duty-paid retail outlets, offering a diverse range of products including handicrafts, souvenirs, electronics, and luxury goods. The enterprise also engages in the production of traditional Ethiopian art and crafts, aiming to showcase the country’s unique cultural identity to both domestic and international customers. Through its commitment to quality service and cultural promotion, ETTE plays a significant role in enhancing Ethiopia’s image and contributing to its economic development.

• Identify and evaluate international suppliers for assigned product categories. • Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts for foreign procurement. • Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with international vendors. • Ensure compliance with customs, import regulations, and ETTE’s procurement policies. • Coordinate with Logistics & Warehouse for timely shipment and clearance of imported goods. etc

Years of Experience: minimum of 4 years in foreign procurement Relevant Experience: Experience in supplier negotiations and international trade documentation

Preferred Skills: in retail or FMCG sectors

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or International Trade
